My son had problems with his Sony Ericsson mobile phone last night. This morning I phoned their call center and got help how we would solve the problem. I just have to communicate that we could solve it themselves instead of sending it in for repair. Today he is one lucky guy as he is very dependent on his mobile phone. What we did was : install a program on our computer and then updated the software in the phone and now it works perfectly.

The problem was that he had to update his phone. And I only liked to tell you about the fact that you do not need to send it for repair you can do it on your own if you instal a program for update on your computer and then update your phone. Thats it.

In light of what you have said; I'd like to point out how important it is for us non-pc geeks to keep up to date with these bits and pieces - and do research from the phone's website- these electronic agencies' repair centres make a lot of money on the back of unknowledgable people like us - once I wasted 100 euros repairing a pc damage, which then I found out required just one line of command to be booted via the dos system to be repaired... bah.

well, I just went to sony ericssons website and downloaded update service to my pc and then followed easy instructions to update the phone. I have not paid a penny for doing this. It was toatlly free to download it for me.

luckly the support solve the problem in general some support center give you general advice for general problems and if you have one really specific it is ahrd to solve..anyway yor story came good ..
