Feels very frustrating being unemployed.

I have undergone this time span for more than 3 months when I was unemployed after resigning from my previous job. It is really frustrating as the time passes by. You try to make attempts at all the possible places, even when you know making an attempt at such place won't be good. But the stage is such that you feel, Man, first get me a job. But now I have a job in hand and I am working. This has eliminated all the unwanted thoughts that used to come in my mind when I was jobless.

There are 3 stages when one is unemployed. The first stage will be fun and relaxed. Because we finally get a break from years of hard work, and it's a well deserved break. After which, we will tell ourself we have got time on our side, and getting a job can wait. WHo knows, time passes faster than expected, and that's when we start panicking. Stage 2, money is running out, and naggings from family just keeps on coming. We might be able to brush it off intially but it's becoming a reality soon. No income, no food, lots of problems. So we feel frustrated and anxious, which leads to 3rd stage. This is the crucial time because if we are lucky to get a job. If not, there's going to be more waiting, and with days pass by, we are getting into ages as well. Time is not on our side now, and the longer we stop working, the lazier we feel, to the extend of giving up totally.

The guilt and pressure becomes such a burden when there is no job! I agree. We are so conditioned as working machines.

That is why I am going to college because the job market stinks right now. In college, I can get educated on what I want to do, and then, when I graduate, I am hoping that there might be something out there for me.

I would going to be frustrated if that might happen to me.I can't imagine myself to be unemployed. I have to lots of payables to pay so i have to work hard for it. And of course i have to feed myself so If ever i don't have a job i would rather think what should i have to do. First maybe i would go on selling some of my things to support myself in daily expenses.

Hi Kartiknaiduk, Congratulations on getting a job! I know the work is very limited out there right now. It's been years since I've been unemployed, thankfully but I still remember the feeling. Its kind of scary when you have bills and obligations. Well, good luck in your new job!
