Fran Crippen, an open sea swimmer from USA, died during 24th's World Cup Marathon race in the United Arab. He was 26.
Crippen won the bronze medal in the 10-kilometres event at last year's World Championship and took the bronze in the 5-kilometer race at the 2010 Open Water Championship. He died during the last leg of 10-kilometer race in Fujiarah, swimming world governing body FINA without disclosing a cause of his death.
USA Swimming will continue to work with FINA to determine a cause of death.
Do you have any idea on the cause of Fran Crippen's death??

More than likely, there was simply too much stress on his heart from all the swimming he was doing.
Too much exercise is hard on the body and the heat has to take so much in order to keep the body moving, and keep it warm while under so much stress.
If it wasn't his heart, then it could have been a blood clot, or an artery burst in his head.
Any number of causes could have done this to him, only an autopsy can confirm what did it.
We can't speculate on this matter, but in reality, I think he overworked himself and his body just couldn't take it anymore.
