Kit car are great cars!

How many of you agree with me? How many of you can name two kit car manufacturer?
Stop think before reading on.
I bet a few of you came up with Caterham or Westfield.
Both version of the classic Lotus seven.
There is more to kit cars than sevens. How about a car that can, and has lapped the Top Gear track (not on the show) faster than any Ferrari! The Ultima GTR, check there website if you don't believe me.
Clearly this is a great car, a super car and a kit car.
Replica are a large part of the kit car world. Take Hawk cars HF 2000/3000 a copy of the Lancia Stratos. The thing is they are both better made and faster than an original car. Plus how many of us car afford to buy a real one.
I could go on and on, but I think I've made my point.
Kit cars are great cars!

I think Kit cars are great, and i really want to get a catheram or something like that when i am older (and i can name more that just Caterham or westfield, there is also Robin Hood, and another one whos name evades me right now). But anyway, i think if u want a sporty car, there is no need to buy anything more than a kit car. Becuase lets face it, you dont use a ferrari on a shopping trip, or anything like that, so a catheram is no less practical compared to the "supercar" rivals. They are also cheaper, more "personal" as u make them ureself, better acceleration, more economical, and you ar emore exposed to the brutal acceleration!
However, this said, im not sure i will get one. They are quite expensive for "what you get" which is a car with no roof!!!
But still... i do like catherams
