i see many people who purchase something solely on basis of price and are usually goofed by their action and those cheap things can sometime ruin something nice example a cheap pen can ruin your shirt by overflow of ink.
so do you purchase something solely on its price or research for the quality of the product and look for its pros and cons...?

'Quality over price' always dominates 'Price over quality'.A person should always purchase things basis on the quality rather than price because Quality is everlasting and can be beneficial for a person in various aspects.Let's take the example of cosmetics. Good quality cosmetics can never do skin rashes but if we prefer price over quality then it can be harmful for us and sometimes it can perish human life.

yes but this is evident from the fact that high quality things are generally expensive than the low quality counterparts.

It depends on the product. A pen...not so much. A shirt, once again, not so much. Electronics and travel are my two main things. I have a MacBook Pro and I believe it was worth every last penny. If I like the shirt and the price of it, I will get it. I looked up macs for two months before I selected it. I am in the process of starting a Europe trip and have already been looking for a month...the trip is in two years.

Sometimes I prefer quality, sometims lower/lowest price.
For instance, I use an Intel Q6600 quad core, over some AMD CPU.
But I have a cheaper graphics card, even though I try to play the newest games.
I buy some cheap food, but I have some good brand appliances (hair dryer and such).

i think we should first look out for quality and then look out for best. it is not bad to get something cheap but not by compromising quality especially that can affect our life or health.
it is nothing wrong in buying a cheap graphics card or buying cheap food (until it is hygienic and clean)
