Other Social Paid Sites and referrals

We all use My Lot for information and to get a little extra change. But in this economy where a few extra dollars can actually make or break a budget... Are there any other social sites that you guys use and like I have one on yuwie but dont use it much due to the pop up ads. Also most systems pay for referrals. What is the best way to earn and get referrals. I have a couple of blogs up but generally dont see much traffic even after signing up for services that promise traffic... let me know your thoughts... perhaps we can make money together.

Mylot is the most effective paying social site of them all.
Need info, money, referrals, or traffic? Mylot really does produce very good results when used properly.
Fill out your profile properly, link to your blogs.
Join lots of interest groups, set up your mylot home page.
Be active and helpful.
