Can technology be good or bad?

I have heard many times that television is bad, internet is bad, or like other technologies
What do you think, is it technology or the user, who make is good or bad

There would be times that the technology is good to all the people who use it. It is really to help people accomplish things in a very fast and accurate manner. It is also a good way to make things easier for us. At some point, It is just up to us if we are going to be using it in a manner that we know that it can be bad to us. Generally speaking, technology can be bad if we got to consumed using it and it will really make people lazy. Example, just like the old days, if we are going to make a research, we will be going to the library and gather at least 5 books for reference. Unlike now, all we have to do is use the search engines and it will give us the information that we wanted in split seconds. All we have to do is choose.
The matter that I want to convey is that if we are doing it the way that we have to put all our efforts to find something what we want, we really consume all our available resources in doing it. Unlike if the information is just being spoon-fed to you, you will feel lazy to do the effort of knowing more. I do not generalize this thing. Because I am guilty that I am lazy sometimes to just copy and paste the report I am doing that came from the internet. I still prefer to use the technology rather than doing it the old way.

You are absolutely right that there are good and bad things with technology and the point you raised is debatable that modern technology is making our lives easier but on the other hand it is making us lazy too, the things which we were doing in days in the past now we are doing in minutes and seconds....

technology is like all other things in life so you cna use in a positive or negative way!!So in some cases can be positiv in other extremely negative but the real fact is not that the technology in general is good or bad but just people that uses it cna be good or bad consequently it depends from people use not from the general resources and possibilities give you technology nowadays!!

This is really one of the valid point, which should be discussed further. But I think being a lazy itself is living style and all this is due to the introduction of technology. On one hand if a technology is making your life comfortable then on the other hand it is also giving you sleeping pills to become lazy and inactive. But on the other hand, eg internet, we can share our ideas with the whole world and can take good suggestions from them.

of course the problem of finance, if you want a nice tv, internet smoothly to take that expensive if you are cheap,of course, the result will be ugly
