Should a pet owner use natural or herbal remedies to help cure a cat's cancer?

I took my cat to the veterinary last week, he did a preliminary examination and thinks she may have cancer, he told us that mammal cancer in cats is a very aggressive type of cancer, and he can't give us any guarantees, the life expectancy is one or two years, at present she is on antibiotics, and next he will send the culture to the lab and determine the treatment if any, if he decides not to treat her, I was wondering if I should talk to him about a herb called ANAMU, this herb is widely used in Latin America to cure cysts or tumors, at present she shows no signs of suffering or pain, and it may very well help her.

Hello Didimay1,
I think the best way to do is to treat your cat to the expert person like veterinary like you did because they know what is the best way to heal your cat. Using herbs or alternative medicine is really good but there is no proofs that it can really heal your cat or other animals that's why don't risk the life of your cat.
Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Thanks for your response, I do agree that we should leave this in the hands of the doctor, cancer is a very serious illness and I would not want my cat to suffer uncecessarily, if the vet decides that we should go with a certain treatment, we are willing to follow his advise. On the other hand if he gives up on her, then I will let him know about the herbal medication.
