I have my personal problems of understanding the Bible, particularly the Old Testament. But when I found the Great Gospel of John, given by the Lord himself to his scribe Jakob Lorber in the 19th century in my mother's tongue German, I started to read daily his words. No interpreter from Hebrew to Greek to Latin to German being between the Lord and me, gave me the real freedom of understanding the historical background of his days on earth as well as the essence of his message.

In my case, I read the Bible every day. Even if you read it several time already and take the Bible again, there is always something new to learn, something you might have forgotten and remember again or something might not have understood the first time you've read it so you need to read it several times before you may understand completely the information given.

I read a page or two of the bible during my free time, when there's really nothing to do. I read the bible most of the time during the holy week. I feel it's so timely as during holy week we feel much nearer to God. Although it must be read from time to time.

I have my daily meditation in our community for an hour and I spent reading the Bible for at least thirty minutes a day. I started my daily reading five months ago beginning from the Genesis. For now, I am in the book of wisdom. My experience is that I have learned and understand the history of the people in the early times and also there are lots of moral lessons that i applied in my daily life. I would suggest to other people to start reading the Bible if they had not yet done so. And I am sure that it will change the heart given that one reads it wholeheartedly.
