A new era has come. With the mass production of electronic devices and application of new technologies, mankind has entered an "e" age.
Nowadays,we have e-mails,e-tickets,e-tests,and e-books,and consequently,paper-based materials gradually vanish.E-book have become extremely popular among youngsters. While traditional ones seem suffer a great loss of their readers.
I have been a book worm for a long time.In my opinion, just as the invention of camera didn't put an end to the history of painting, traditional books are,and will still be, an intimate friend of readers.

hmmm...i know ebook is very helpful and easier but i dont think it will replace the traditional books because there are still a lot of people who do not have computer/internet. there are still many poor people who can only read books that are being donated.

I think they might, at some point in the future, but it will take a long, long time, since a lot of people are still very fond of traditional books (Myself included) so I don't think they will want to give them up in the first place...

Yeah,it looks like that quite a few people are fond of traditional books. But the traditional books have a disadvantage that they cost so much. However,on the contrary, large quantities of e-books are free of charge. So they appeal to a lot of people.Nevertheless,I believe that traditional books wouldn't vanish.

I don't think so. Although Ebooks are very common today, however, you still need a device to read it. And the battery will be a problem because you have to make sure it won't run out the battery when you are reading the Ebooks. Otherwise it really spoils the mood. Sometimes I still prefer to read a normal book because I think it is not so harmful for my eyesight. And it is convenient, too.

It is so true that we have already entered an e-world with everything related to e. I am very interested in things related to e. But as you have mentioned in the discussion, I agree that traditional books will not vanish though there are e-books and anything similar.

I can't stand e-books. I still think of myself as a pretty young person too. (19 isn't that old? Is it?) Not all the "youngsters" like ebooks. It's paper books for me, and I doubt I'll ever change my mind. I see too many disadvantages to ebooks. You have to charge them, they're totally technology and technology crashes, and if you drop an ereader it's done for. Nope. I'm not conforming.

Hi Strongsz. I completely abide by you. Still most of the readers prefer traditional books to e-books. Books are integral part of human being. Whatever technologies may come books can never be beaten. It will stay in future like it was in the past. But on pollution point of view e-book is better than books. Coz you know that.
Good bye for now. Hope to hear from you.
Happy mylotting.
