i always wanted to seek a job abroad. i had this opportunity and i was so excited i'm getting the job i like abroad. but when i got home , i'm having second thoughts. since i was the one doing all the chores for my children, cooking, driving them to school as in everything.i asked my husband if it's ok with him and he said yes but i still want us together. i called the employer if it's ok with her to sponsor my family and we'll just have an arrangement that i will pay them for the other expenses. they just told me that you can take them after a year if you like. because i will be new to the place and if my family will be there they may hamper my job coz all us are new to the place ,like their previous experiences. and i fail to follow the contract i might be deported together with my family. so, i don't want that risk.
i'm so sad, really. i waited for this opportunity because i wanted to give my children a better future.of course, i chose to be with my family instead of being gone for a year.
and now, you try to look back.i don't know if i regret not pursuing for that job.now i'm doing the same profession but only at home. and it's pretty hard to work because you're home. you just feel that sometimes you need some development, changes in your job. what do you think? good day

I would never leave my children for anything, no job or anything would make me move away from my children as they are the best thing in my life along with my wife.
I would take a lower payed job that i can get to and still live on and support my family the best i can rather than take a better job abroad.

If the family is not much in need of a better income, it's just a great experience staying with the kids. Especially if the kids depend too much on us for their needs. If the family however is in need of a bigger earnings for a better future and the kids are grown ups and can now live independently, we can leave them for a job abroad.
