Should being successful be the only motive of our life?

Life shouldn't just be about achieving success. Living life in the best way that e can that pleases us and makes us happy and fulfilled should be our goal in life. It isn't about what we accomplished or not.

If you run for excellence success will run for you. But if you run for success it will only run away from you. Although the fact that everyone eventually wants success is true. Everyone loves to taste the fruit of success. Humans are like that. Some may deny it but they know deep inside they want success too. I am confuse. Right now, I am thinking that gossips that break my day and I am unable to forget it. I am confident this is what I need to continue my life as a daughter, sister and employee.

For me not it is matter of what you are in the heart of Jehovah God if you are knowing the accurate acknowledgment in him then you would be success in every aspect of your life.

Well Sir ... the world is round and so are humans ! We run after success,money,fame,popularity ,etc, and the same things runs away from you . People who are after perfection tend to get what the rest run behind . Bill Gates never knew that he would be worlds richest man when he had developed Windows.Mark Zuckerberg had developed Facebook only to get in touch his friends , but was least aware that he would be worlds youngest and most successful Entrepreneur ! This is what we can call as success running after us . However, we need to be realistic at the same time. In todays hectic world , all what is respected and cared is Success. hence everybody wants to be successful or ich at any cost. Some people have their principles intact and do not believe in Un-ethically acquired success , whereas others who don't know what principles and moral values are , tend to do anything which will get them a step up to success. The end decision is always called the wisest decision !

yeah.... What you are saying is absolutely right.In the race of we are forgetting ourselves as humanbeings. And i think its the time to think what we are and why we are doing all these things. if money is the only reason better we should drop from the race. Because if earn money being immoral and forgetting ourselves there wont be any difference between machines and us ofcourse we can talk. that may be the only difference. only money will not be sufficient for being a happy fellow in life. There are some morals, and obeying those morals and helping the needy people, doing goodthings and acheiving and contributing some thing that is benefitial to the society and world i mean for the PEOPLE... then it will be the real acheivement in life. and this will make one to feel as a real human... I think soooo....!!!!

i think ,first of all ,we should get the materials which is the necessity and then consider the question you have raised above. and i deem everybody should share their happiness with other people and to be helpful human-being ,and of course,to be a thoughtful man is important. try our best to help the other people when we spare no effors to pursue our goal .

All of us, in some form or another, want to have the best car, the best home heck even the best of what the world has to offer. However we must not limit ourselves to such things because being successful is just part of the bigger picture in this stage we call life. Everyone desires success even if it means sacrificing anything or everything in the process but we should not let it dictate our life goals because we gave other responsibilities to fulfill to the world and being successful is just one of those responsibilities. We can find satisfaction in life by involving yourself in social programs like helping the poor or helping in the community in which you live in and there is also the option of promoting a social and/or moral issue and helping change the world for the better. I personally am involved in one of my churchs outreach programs and It feels that I am accomplishing something that is teaching people the word of God and helping them believe in themselves. That for me is something to be proud of and you can do it too if you are willing to use your time. Therefore, it takes more than success to become a real human being. It is much more than having a family and being financially well-off. If you have truly succeded in life you would not be struggling right now would you?
