Whats on your badge

I am now required to take my turn at wearing a badge at work. The badge proclaims that I am "Nutrition Champion"... As a six year old, I would probably have had a sense of pride in wearing it BUT, as a FIFTY-six year old I find it somewhat patronising and a little embarassing. I expressed my opinions to my immediate superior & asked if I had to start wearing my knickers on the outside of my trousers. She replied "Yes, and you have to have your mittens threaded through your coat on a piece of tape aswell". My question is... do you or have you ever, been obliged to wear a badge for work that you deemed inappropriate in any way?

Nope, but I do have one on a lanyard around my neck when I'm on duty at the policing centre.

I already have a "twin" at work. A gentleman told us that he always got us muddled up... she is a good 3" taller than me, about 10 years younger, wears a different coloured uniform, & has short dark hair... he said he thought it was the hair that confused him as its so similar

My badge has my picture, my name and the company logo. That's it....

Yeah, I have one of those too but I keep it in my pocket. Also have one with just my name, job title and logo.

I have always had boring badges when I worked. I rather like Nutrition Champion. It probably entertains any six year olds you happen to run into. I guess I am mostly a computer champion.

Trust me, it entertains everyone except the staff who have to wear it... Its so unnecessary. I would be more impressed with one that said "Sh*t shifter" - that being one of the other everyday tasks of the job
