I don't really want anything, well not in the form of gifts really. I just want my son to have a great christmas and for us both o have our good health and that is enough for me. Christmas is more for the kids really, aslong as my son is happy and constantly smiling then i am happy. Families are awkward things, as the saying goes, " you can choose your friends but you can't choose your family", luckily i have a great family that i see often and we have a close relationship. Some people though just aren't worth giving the time of day to. As stated, christmas really is for the kids so aslong as they are happy then that is the main thing.

That is awful, i don't really know how people can be like that. I guess on the other hand that you would save money at christmas by not getting them gifts, or do you still buy for them?

thats a good answer and i am about half way through my shopping. its the worst part for me as i never know what to get people, but luckily the amount of people i buy for is decreasing. i mainly concentrate on buying for my kids

I don't really want or need anything in particular. I told everyone in my family just to send a $10 check (each) to my university, which I owe A LOT of money to (that's preventing me from going back until I pay them off completely lol). I actually don't really want or need anything either. Of course my family and friends will still get me something, and they're pretty good at being creative, so I trust them to it.
