Do you ever find yourself wanting to either quote, or relate something in your life to something you once read in a book, but stopped shirt because you'd have to explain the reference to friends who probably are interested in the act of reading books to begin with?
I think I came up upon such an occasion recently, and didn't wanna want to make a friend feel left out by not knowing what I was talking about.

All the time. But I'm not shy about making others feel left out. They should read more.
Actually they usually don't feel left out, they just roll their eyes at me and say that reading books is stupid. A statement which make tiny pieces of my heart rot and die. Oh the sorrow! If only my generation could understand the true joy of reading books!
