The new ipod touch

I have never owned an ipod touch because i don't see the need to. I'm used to being freed of earphones plugging inside my ear, making it so painful. All i know is that, ipod itself is not cheap and now there's the newer version, it's going to be more expensive right? I have read about it in the papers, and it's supposed to have bigger screen and it has got touch screen ability. BUt GB wise, it did not improve much from the older version yet it's more expensive.

Sounds like great fun! Why don't you get your kids earbuds for the laptops? That is what I have on mine and I can listen to music loud while the kids sleep. And the ear buds have great sound. I would love to get this new tech stuff. I am lucky to have a laptop.

They should be glad to be able to have an ipod.. lol =D It's so much cheaper to buy it over there as compared to other countries such as mine.. lol =D I have seen the new ipod touch, and i dun find it fascinating at all. It's squarish looking and function wise is not as good as the previous version. On top of that, it's overly priced when i can get something much better with a top up of maybe 50 bucks?? haha

my son wants an ipod for christmas,some of them are really cheap,much cheaper than what i expected them to be so i might get him one,just a quick question,if they don't use batteries how do they work

My daughter has an iPod Touch and she loves it. I connected her with my wireless router so she now has Internet access. The screen is way too small for much Web surfing, but it connects to iTunes.

jugsjugs, can u also check like your emails, post discussions here in mylot with the ipod touch or is it just for games & music videos.. If we can surf the web that would great, I would want to purchase one... Have a great day mylot friends...

Hi jugs, I don't own any ipod touch yet and I'm happy with my new cellphone which I could get on the internet, listening to music and other interesting features as well. My son has an ipod with touch screen. He had left it here for sometimes to let me to experience the fun of using it with touch screen which I haven‘t come across before. It’s a gift he had got after writing reviews of the product. He was chose to be the article writer in the region he lives. Lol…I made full use of the device when it was with me. I listen to my favorite music via the earbuds as well. For the sake not to disturb others it’s nice to listen to music or play games using earphone or earbuds Happy posting

lots of my friends have them, we have even had them played at parties of ours, but this is where every body will fall about laughing , but I have no idea about ipods, how they work or how you load the music on or anything. How daft is that !! I would probably like one, as my tastes in music are really varied, but i am so ignorant about them, i can't go out and buy one as i have no idea

Wow, that's really nice. I have experienced using an Ipod but its a really old model and is not touch screen. I liked it for its games, wide screen, portability, long play time, and large memory for songs. There are indeed other things that you can do with it but I only used it for games and music. I only use it when Im busy with something and the earphones do keep the music limited to my ears. Enjoy those iPods!^_^

Wow that's awesome! So we don't need to put battery? You mean, it's rechargeable? I think the older models have already implemented that. As for me I prefer iPod shuffle as it's smaller and the smallest among iPod models.

My older son had a ipod touch and he hated his...who knows why because it does do so many things. My middle boy has an ipod phone or iphone...not sure what it is called. He loves his and is playing with it all the time. If he isn't listening to music, he is texting or checking his facebook or talking on it. I wish I would have gotten one as well....maybe someday.

The wonders of technology! I guess it's better than them doing something else. I would rather have kids listening to music on the ipod. My son who's 10 is currently into downloading music into my ipod. I've created a separate folder for his music. It's just easier!

I bought an iPod Touch a couple of weeks ago. It's the last generation, not the newest version. I bought it mostly to be an ebook reader so I don't always have to sit in front of the computer to read my ebooks. I moved most of the icons, like Youtube, music, and other stuff onto a second screen because I'm never going to use them. All I've done so far is download a reading app and a writing app. It's kind of a pain to use the tiny keyboard, but it's okay for notes.

Make sure they remember to keep them charged, at least a little. My stepson found out the hard way that once the battery is totally uncharged, it won't charge again. I love my iPod touch too. I have been having a hard time with it since I got my new computer. I had a program on my old computer that converted movies to iPod touch format. I can't find it now, so, no movies.

I have ipod classic with 160gig memory in it. I personally don't like touch screen anything but that's just my preference, guess there's nothing wrong with new ipod touch. One thing I like about my ipod is I can put every single cd into it. I don't have much but I'm getting there. I have little over 4,600 songs in it & I take it everywhere. I also have few hundred pictures in it as well. It is pretty handy little thing.

Hiya jugs, My Husband has a good Ipod too but I don´t mess around with it as it´s got loads of personal stuff on it for his work. I would like one but I really don´t mind being as I am either. Do your Children know what they are having for Christmas then? I mean the Ipods do they know what make it is and everything already? I bet they will play with them for hours too. They have so many things on them now you can play all Day with them.
