Where would you like to raise a family?

I was reading through this yahoo article (http://realestate.yahoo.com/promo/the-best-small-cities-to-raise-a-family.html) and that got me thinking. I'm not from the united states so I'm not really familiar with those places. Given the chance to pick though, I'd still like to raise a family here in my country, perhaps in Laguna where it's near the city and there's access to good schools. I'd like to try out living near the beach too, in quaint San Juan in Batangas maybe or Ilocos up north.
