I have a problem with my MAc computer I need help

Is there anybody who are using mac and could help me with this? I just can't let it work. When I turned it on, only the apple will comes out. Just wondering if maybe because of the heat? we have no air condition at home and it is too hot. Is there anything I can do to make this work? I need help from some computer savvy who are using Mac apple.

I'm a Pinoy Mac user also.
What is the model of your Mac? And what version of Mac OS are you using?.... Tell me the details before that happened or what is the good state of your Mac before that problem happened. What are doing or have done?

My advice for now is to reformat your Mac into newest Mac OS X...... Your Mac OS probably are not updated.
Best is to go here, register and post your problem with an urgency....... http://www.philmug.ph/forum/ ....... Its a local website dedicated for Mac users. They have consultants and technicians available. Ask and know on how to get your Mac to Apple authorized repair shop.

I already forgot what version was it because it was just given to me by mys sister in US. It was still working good when it arrived but in a few days of using, it makes trouble and until now it won't work. It all started when I played DVD on it. It is good at the the beginning but as the days go by, it won't play anymore, DVD not responding. There is a message pm the screen says, to off or reset which I did. As I keep on doing it, message appear on the screen that says, FAILURE CPU there is an error and It won't shut down. The Apple logo will appear with (?) question mark sign. I would presume that this is an old version of mac and I don't know where to check the version since it is not functioning now. I hope you can give me advice of what I will do ASAP. Thank you. I have no internet that is why it takes time for me to check my mylot discussion. Thanks for the help.

Sorry!!! If your computer was windows supported one, I would have been able to help you. But the fact is that I never liked MAC, even though I know it is best when compared with the Microsoft supported systems.
Maybe someone here in myLot will have answer to your question

No, I did not download windows on it. I don't know what happen but it says that the hard disk is failure...
