I think its interesting that countries have different parts that are tropical and warma and that snow. Here is Canada we have very very very cold parts, and some mildly warm parts. Pretty much anwhere in Canada at one point or other in time gets snow.
Are you disapointed that you didn't get to see snow?
I wouldn't be. Its terrible to get around in and all the drivers go crazy and cause accidents. Its good for a couple days at most but after that I'm done with snow.

You must be glad to have hot weather.
I love the heat and wish I lived somewhere warmer. Whereabouts do you live?

I used to live in a county called Kent in England. Some winters it snowed and the snow could get quite deep. In 1991 I got snowed in for two days and wasn't able to get to work. I traveled to Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland in January 1992. I remember the snowy scene and it looked ever so picturesque. Now I live in a county called Somerset in England. Here because I live close to the sea it doesn't often happen that snow settles here. Snow happens in my home country during some winters. Where I live now it is more mild than it was in Kent. We always hope for a white Christmas but I can't remember it ever happening.

We always want a white christmas too. Most of the time in vancouver we just get a wet christmas. For the first time in my entire life 3 years ago it actually snowed on christmas day. I was so happy.
That must have been real scarey being snowed in. I'm really not a fan of being trapped anywhere. I hope you kept nice and warm. Obviously you survived which is the main part! lol

Yes I played in the snow all winter long for many years as a little kid, but moved to a warmer climate as soon as I was big enough. Snow is pretty, but I do not care to live anyplace where it gets below the 40's (F) at night and I like the sun to come out almost every day.

I agree with you. I much prefer warmer climates. I have seen a little bit of snow where i am from but genearlly its very temperate.
I recently moved up to where its very cold. I don't really like it. I definately will not be here long term.

It would be wierd, because I see snow all the time, its just something thats normal around here. Imagine running into someone who's never seen it before, that would be strange. I've haven't met anyone yet that's never seen it.

I live in the midwest of the US and we get snow each winter. Hasn't been too bad the last couple of years here but can't imagine going an entire winter without snow. It's just so pretty. I know a couple of people who were born in the southern part of Florida and haven't ever seen snow. They don't know what they are missing when it comes to trying to drive on the snowy roads. Makes life a little interesting!

Although it will never snow in my city. But I had travel to the north places in winter in my country. So I was able to see the snow there. It is so beautiful, but I must say that I had to get used to the cold weather.
I love China

I have seen a lot of snow in my life. sometimes i think i have had more than my share. i have only lived in one place where there was no snow. it was hard to get used to. i enjoy the snow, not just all at one time.
