Ok! I am a bit encouraged to travel lately and I want to know the best locations which I may consider to visit for a vacation or just a short visit. I wanted to know the places in particular that I need to see when I am on that certain location. Hence, I want to know how much I will save as my budget in visiting. Of course, I would be considering the flight fares, accommodation, food and sight seeing expenses.
Share with me the places you have visited and information about the places, and your expenses.
I would be grateful to know your stories.

There's a lot of cheap but best places here in Asia. By the way what's your nationality? But even if your a Filipino there's a lot of places here in the country you could go to. You have, Cebu then go to Bohol, Puerto Princessa, Puerto Galera, Sorsogon (where you can see a "Butanding"), Baguio, Vigan, Zambales, etc.. There are so many it may take me 20 minutes to write it all including the fares etc.. You may want to specify first what country and how much is your budget so we can cut list down.
For other countries in Asia, you can go to Hongkong, Macau, Singapore, Bangkok Thailand, Malaysia, etc.. In terms of budget, it's not that expensive and you can expect to bring same budget on each country. $1000 would be more than enough.

Wow! That was a great list of vacation spots. I was then planning to go to El Nido then, but of course I had to put in the list first in Puerto Princesa, However, due to circumstances, I did not pursue going. Especially now that I am encountering some issues. Yes, I will take note of your suggestion. Thank you my friend.

It was 13 years ago that I had the opportunity to travel to Italy with my churches youth group. It was one of the most rewarding experiences that I've ever had in my life and I would definitely recommend it for anyone that would like to travel. If you are looking to have an extended trip, I would take the opportunity to find a tour of the entire country. However, if you were only able to visit one city I would recommend Venice. I loved everything about it, the shopping was great, the location was beautiful and there were plenty of things to do.

I been to Australia and stayed there with my sister for 3 months. I have only been to one part of the country ie in Queensland. Australia is a beautiful country and wish to go back there again for a 2nd visit anytime in the future. But the problem is the strength of our currency makes vacation in Australia expensive. I have spend more than rm10,000 exclusive of flight fares and accommodation as I was putting up with my sister. I did not buy much, yet it has burned a big hole in my purse. I decided to take an Asian tour probably in Thailand or Indonesia next year. It will be much cheaper where our currency is on par or cheaper visiting neighbouring countries.

Wow! Australia is one of the most wonderful places to visit and migrate on. I want to go to Sydney and Melbourne. It is expensive though to go to said places. I think I would consider in a while neighboring countries in Asia. Thanks for the suggestion. I note that in my list.

I suggest that you should contact with a travel company. You can find all information of places and fees to go to there. It won't waste your time.

Go on a Euro trip. That's what I'd do if I were you but if you are from Europe it would be best to go to places in Asia or Latin America..

I've said over and over, that Texas is a great place to visit (in the winter or spring).
Now, I LOVED England, not the least because I speak the language... sames goes for most of Canada, in fact, if someone is in the Northwestern part of the U.S., then Victoria B.C. is very like a little London. Its much more "English" feeling than Vancouver, that is more like the States.
I've been over a good part of the U.S. and if you want to visit in the U.S. summer, then you should go to some place like Yellowstone, or one of the other more northerly climes. If you want to come during the winter, well, there is plenty to see in the South.

If you are thinking of going on some short visits I suggest Hong Kong or Singapore to you. They have excellent shopping and interesting sight seeing. I stayed at the youth hostel on the top of Mount Davis in Hong Kong. In Singapore I stayed at a backpackers hostel. It was a hostel on a floor in an office building. In Hong Kong I liked riding on the trams and seeing the beautiful harbor. In Singapore I liked seeing the merlion at the entrance of the harbor. I enjoyed seeing the man made island. On my last trip there I went to the national park.
If you fly to Europe I recommend you seeing London, Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Budapest, Dubrovnik, Athens and Istanbul. You could stay in youth hostels or cheap guest houses. You could easily spend one month in Europe exploring the different cities. Alternatively you could fly to Vienna and stay in Austria looking around at the different places. If you want low prices Eastern European destinations are cheap in Romania and Bulgaria.
Australia and New Zealand make a wonderful trip and there are backpacker hostels there. I would recommend Sydney and Cairns in Australia and Northland in New Zealand.
A dorm bed in a backpackers hostel could cost from $5 to $30 depending on the location. Sightseeing isn't hugely expensive. I suggest reading a Lonely Planet guide and then it gives a price for each accommodation listing and tourist attraction. Going to either Hong Kong or Singapore would be cheap. In Europe London and Paris you would find expensive but the other places I have listed in that region are much cheaper. A flight to Sydney or Auckland would be a bit pricey. However backpacker hostels are cheap there and food is reasonably priced.

I wonder if you already have visited boracay, palawan, or surigao? I haven't been there too. Hehe. But I've heard stories from my friends and also saw the pictures of them there and envy is running all over my veins. Hehe. I wish I had the time and of course money to spend so I can go to those places. I also wanted to go to Singapore and Macau with my boyfriend. He's wishing to gamble there. Whew!

Everybody wants to have a unique vacation, one that is different from the neighbours. Exotic locations filled with beautiful bodies or maybe explore hidden ruins. Unfortunately those are now becoming more common, everybody is doing them ans thus they are no longer unique. One idea is to try to find really odd or strange places and visit them, places few ever heard of or really believe exist. They are out there, in every single country of the world! There are other places around the world that can sound quite strange in English. Norway has Bast@rd and Australia is home to the Chinaman's Knob as well as Tittybong. Care to go swimming in the Pis Pis River in Nicaragua.

your expense generally depends on you i.e. where you eat and stay(it is obvious that you will have to spend more money to eat in a five star hotel) and the expense which is generally not in our hands very much is the travel expense.
last time about a year ago i went to Andaman and Nicobar islands in the bay of bengal. it was a great experience as i was in the ocean for first time and enjoyed snorkeling watching the corals and scuba diving .
in the nicobar islands i enjoyed hot air balloon and all i can say is that i am going to remember my trip for a very long time.

In my situation that working abroad here in Saudi Arabia I can say saving money for family is the priority but every time I spend my vacation way back to my origin see to it to have stop-over in my travel so that I have time to visit some other places which the same expenses with a little pleasure I think. Almost all countries in Asia have been visit through stop-over. So next time my stop-over is Hong kong might be this coming March... see you around

Come to Malaysia, this is really very cool place, I am here from last one year and I like to be here, there are very attractive sight seeing, highlands and beaches. Last month, I was in Langkawi, one of the most attractive beaches in Malaysia and world, it was really very good experience, beside this, Cameron highland, ginting highland are also good to visit, and from here you can travel to Singapore by Bus and can watch the landscapes while your travel.
The hotels in Malaysia are little expensive but it depends on they type of hotel, you can find hotel and their prices on net both in Singapore and Malaysia, BTW I am planning to visit Sg in next few months, if you want then we can accompany each other to reduce cost of living....:)

I have travelled to Hong Kong in 2008 and it was remarkable.
I only spend RM1200 equals to USD400. Flights and hotels are booked earlier and I spent only USD100 for food and shopping.
And I took many pictures and uploaded in the facebook.
Anyway, food in Hong Kong is expensive like a bowl of mee is RM40 equals to USD15, if I am not mistaken.
