Christmas season is coming near. Few more days and christmas is here. When I was young,my grandmother would make some hot chocolate drink and some rice pudding on the christmas eve. We'll wait patiently for Santa's coming to fill our socks with gifts. Then have a christmas feast on the christmas day with my relatives and friends. I very much love listening to christmas songs, even until now. It reminds me so much of my younger days. That's how we celebrate christmas, how about yours?

Relatives on my mother's side get together every year at our house for Christmas. There is usually more food that we can all handle, and we break out the karaoke machine. They at midnight, we bring out the cake and have coffee. We also battle it out with charades then we exchange gifts and say nice things to each other.
This is for Christmas eve. On Christmas day, we either stay home or hang out somewhere.

When we lived in a 10 bedroomed house we use to have most of the family stay over christmas and new year. However we moved to a 2 bedroomed bungalow last year so last christmas we all went to Mexico and we were swimming and sailing in the pacific ocean on Christmas day. This year we are going to London for a party in Brunel University

What I remember about Christmas during my younger years is the abundant food on the table at Christmas eve. There's always the quezo de bola and hot chocolate, what I want is the suman with latik. And at the Christmas day, we visited our relatives in some distant place and of course got all the gifts and money. Now at our age, we usually just stay home. The same preparation at the eve, but just a bit difference on the day itself. We usually wait for the coming of our relatives especially the children and distribute then our prepared gifts for them, just like how we received them when we are young. Christmas is really an event to be get excited.

We spend Christmas Eve with my side of the family. We have lots of different finger foods and deserts. We exchange gifts and take pictures and just sit around the whole afternoon and enjoy each others company.
We are at our own home on Christmas Morning. We have a good breakfast and open gifts.
I then cook some dishes that are taken to my mother in laws for Christmas Day dinner.

I spend my Xmas quietly at home and don't tend to celebrate it too much as in my mind it is a very commercial time of year. I don't tend to want too many presents, just a card will do me from my family as this lets me know they are thinking of me.
When I was a child though, it was entirely different as I got all the excitement. I see it as for the kids when they are young and then the parents can have a great deal of fun also as they watch their kids opening the presents. _Derek

Although I do not celebrate Christmas, I do spend a lot of hours with my friends celebrating it. They usually invite me after the rituals, and we eat and play video games a lot. It is also fun to get in touch with their relatives, mostly sharing the same hobbies.

We spend Christmas Eve here at home with my family. My mom would cook her best recipes and I would help her to cook. Of course my other siblings and my Dad are just there to eat lol. Before midnight, we would hear mass. Then eat when we get home.

When I was younger we would go to my grandparents on my mom's side one day and my grandmother on my dad's side another. I believe usually Christmas Eve was my mom's side and Christmas Day was my dad's side. We'd open presents from santa and my parents on Christmas Eve I believe. Truth be told I forget exactly all we did. In any case, I do remember the christmas tree decorating, and I remember christmas songs the day of the celebration itself.

Christmas was the best time of year in our household. I remember going out as one great big family and choosing our Christmas tree, just after Thanksgiving had ended. I remember pulling out the Christmas ornaments to decorate the tree. This was always a task as we shared memories of the ornaments and all the past Christmas’.

We have Christmas Eve at my grandma's where we open the gifts from that side of the family and have an early brunch like thing. On Christmas day, my immediately family all opens their gifts and then that night we have a huge Christmas dinner. It's a lot of fun. I love Christmas time :D

I use to spend Christmas with my parents, my grandparents and all my family. We use to have a very big lunch all togheter in my grandma house.
We often eat a lot and, for this reason, we use to walk in a countryside in the afternoon. Sometimes wehave decided to go out to the cinema especially when it was possible to see funny christmas movie!
I like very much the Christmas day because I have the possibility to stay with all my family!
