Can Mylot Admin Control if discussions are posted elsewhere?

I just tried to search the name of my friend learn2earn. I was shocked to see that his discussion was posted on a site about traveling. I was so shocked that I don't know what to do, really. Can the mylot admin do something about it? Or will it just allow our discussions to be posted anywhere? What about the mylot community, do they know that their discussion can be posted anywhere? What do you say about this? I need some clarification. Thank you very much. Here's the discussion that was posted somewhere: http://www.elmundoviajes.com/what-do-you-think-about-educational-tours.html

Yes, it's stated in the Terms (to which you agreed when you signed up): "Proprietary Rights in Content on myLot. myLot does not claim any ownership rights in the text, works of authorship, photos, or any other materials that you post to the myLot website. After posting to the myLot website, you continue to retain all ownership rights in such content, and you continue to have the right to use your content in any way you choose. By publishing ("posting") any content on or through the myLot website, you hereby grant to myLot an irrevocable infinite life limited license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely on and through the myLot website and third party sites with whom myLot has distribution agreements." [my italics]. http://www.mylot.com/o/terms.aspx Wasingertech own MANY sites and content from MyLot may be republished on one or more of them. This is one way in which they gain revenue in order to pay us.

Here's a short list, by no means exhaustive, where you can find MyLot content posted in a similar way. Notice that the author's username is always placed after the post in square brackets. http://www.steveverdon.com http://www.pc-help4u.com http://www.upstatestudios.com http://www.dirtalk.com http://www.best-mixes.com/ http://www.linkfests.us/ http://www.spitballcinema.com/ http://www.fabricant-veranda.com/ http://www.prague-hotel-service.com/ http://www.ton-lien.com/ http://www.pc-help4u.com/ http://www.feedreader.tk/ http://www.elmundoviajes.com

As for my opinion, our contents here can be used and be posted elsewhere. As long as it is your original content, then you have all the right to post it anywhere. I think, Mylot do not claim our contents to be theirs when posted here. Honestly, I do post my contents to another site. However, I still do changes in it because I do not want to be a rule breaker instead there are rules that I may not be aware of.

I didn't know that our discussions could be posted anywhere else, either. I don't have any problem with it, myself. However, it does mean that we don't have any privacy here. Like you said, it looks like the mylot administration could do something about it.
