Look at the photos, do you think that it will help to save the earth by saving a lot of plastic bag? I guess it will definitely help!
Many country including mine are start to have the awareness of reducing the usage of plastic bags, especially for those hyper/supermarkets that uses the most plastic bags. So if I have a kangaroo, I will probably will do it like what she did in the picture, bring the kangaroo to shopping to help to carry all the groceries that I going to buy, and at the same time to take part in saving the earth!
Do you think that is a good idea? Any other suggestion?

what? kangaroo? i think you can save the earth with that, but you can not save the supermarkets, lol.
I think your country can donate to my country as the world lunge. then we can save the world together. as a develop country, my country hard to fund the forest keep project. because our funds is not enough to do it. I think this is all world responsible for save the earth, especially the country industry. do you agree with me?

You are right, who can save the supermarket? To save the earth is every one responsibility, it is not necessary to involved money, you just need to start from your everyday life like use less plastic bags and don't open burning...and that will really save the earth a lot.

Here the plastic bags are banned in the supermarket. So we have to bring our bags when we go shopping. If you really want to have the plastic bags from the supermarket, then you have to pay for it and usually the charge is higher. Although it seems it is inconvenient for the customers. But in a long term it will be good for our environment. Plastic bags are one of the pollutions today. So I already get used to bring my cloth bag when I go out.
I love China

You are right, here the supermarket will choose a special day as a plastics free day. And those who did not bring their own bags will probably need to take their stuff with their bare hand. Many are unhappy about that at the beginning and later when they are used to it, that became normal.

my suggestion is that plastic bags are safer than paper for so many groceries and all you havce to do is recycle them and they will be used to make other stuff where plastic is needed. I use a combo of paper and plastic as you can bring your o wn plastic bags in the store I go to and I use paper for the things what will not tear the paper bag and my own plastic bags for things that need strength.

Hi Hatley,
That is a very good idea to use your own plastic bags or paper bags when you buy groceries. I too use the recyclable plastic bag when I go for shopping. That is the big one that I can put in a lot of groceries. Most of the hypermarket like Tesco nowadays use degradable plastic bags and you won't be able to use it for many time.
