My reaction is to help them in the best ways I can. To me, "handicap" means "need help". So, that's my reaction. To some, I may not have the means to help though I would very much like to, but to some I may be able to. It depends on the type of handicap, some may be physical, some may be mental, right ?

Hmm first I feel really sorry and thank God for my blessings. Most times I try to be as kind as possible but some handicapped people don't like being looked down upon if you know what I mean. Then unfortunately sometimes I scorn them and get annoyed...but that's rarely.

I try to maintain my normal behaviour with them because they are very sensitive & on the one hand negligence hurts them and on the other hand too much helping attitude towards them also hurts them. So it is better to behave in the same way as I do with any otherwise normal person.

Whenever I see a handicapped person, I feel pity for them but most often I admire them because they are courageous. Sometimes they can do things which normal people do and they succeed in life. I admire them because their being handicapped doesn't let them down but they keep going on.

I probably look at them and smile just like I do to everyone else I see around. When you're a child, of course you stare, because it is something different and intriguing about the human race. I think most disabled people understand this with children. However, as an adult, there is no excuse to stare, and I treat them like normal human begins which they are!

I worked with people with handiap for a long time - for me they are just normal people whose view of the world is different then mine. They have only one existence, and its the only one they have. Unfortunately, however, a lot of people are not used to this. People try to be 'kind', but if you're not used to having them around, then you'd try to see what behaviour to come up with...

I feel very sad when I see someone handicapped. And I always surprised when any handicapped person are doing any great work which is difficult for a normal person. So I think nothing is impossible if you have great ability and desire to doing anything in life.
