Today i saw a news on Yahoo website that let me very happy, it says: "For the first time in many years, the internet explorer has less than 50% of the browsers market". The IE take 50% or more of the browsers users in the version 3.0, when overtake the old Netscape, the year was 1996. Today Firefox have 31,5% and the Google Chrome is in a huge ascencion with 11,54% of the users. I never liked IE and since Firefox started i use it, and love that Browser. Is great see the browser war, i think we all internet user just can win with that, and you what you think about this new war between Mozilla, Microsoft and Google? If you use IE, have you ever thought in change your browser?

I am amazed that anyone still uses internet explorer. I have four browsers, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and Opera. Of the four I never use I.E. It is just soooo sloooow. I used to use firefox, but then I would often have problems of it freezing after about an hour. Now I mostly use Chrome and I love it. I do have bad Chrome days and then I use Opera. I also like Opera, though not as much as Chrome.

A lot of people use IE without knowing it like Yahoo Messenger. So, it won't be going away soon as long as these web applications are still being used.

Well yeah, just like you, I'm also not a fan of internet explorer, I'm more to firefox lover. I think the excess is firefox plug in, with that we can customize how firefox works easily. Although I admit that firefox consumes a lot of memory, but it is worth with the result of its performance which I think is more efficient. I think microsoft should be more careful in the future, because of their competitors are fast advance and shouldn't underestimated.

This may be true, but a lot of financial transactions like online trading in the financial markets are still designed for the IE browser + Windows platform. I was looking for something in Firefox, but I can't seem to find any. I just hope more and more of the established trading platforms will now be designed for Firefox, Java and other open source technologies. If this doesn't happen within the next 12 months, I may be installing/using Windows and IE with my next purchase of a new computer.

It was a lot worst in the past, almost every site on the Internet now is fully compatible with Firefox and Chrome. I never used much the Opera or Safari browsers to say anything about them. I invest in market here and use firefox to access my stock account.

i ever use IE but i'm not using it anymore IE is very slow browser. For me Firefox is the best browser ever made,do you know why: First, its very fast browser,i can customize everything on firefox to make it faster. Second,it has a lot of plugin and they are very interesting unlike IE or chrome. Third, firefox security features is the best than any other browsers i ever use.

You remember well, one thing that Firefox got better than IE is the Security, we can't even compare (let's see the new version of IE 9). And the plugins feature is really unbeatable in FF, not Chrome or IE got the ability of costumization that FF got.

Internet Explorer has already goodbye to the old days of being number 1... I believe. Since there are other browsers available, it literally kills the IE... slowly. There are more issues and concerns brought about with the use of IE not even to mention that there is also a battler that Microsoft giant wants to manipulate its use. But certainly, if the product is good, they will rise more than first one. I am talking about Goggle chrome anf Mozilla Firefox.. Oh man, those two web site are gaining and gaining more fans... Count me in as the one who favors this two instead of IE.

I used to use IE before I really knew anything about the internet. Now when I look back I see how big of a mistake that is and how horrible IE is compared to other web browsers. I am a user of Mozilla Firefox now and I don't see myself changing that for a long time.
