no birthday surprise for hubby

October 27, 2010 10:40am CST
in a few hours it is hubby's birthday already. i told him that i really have no gift for him but he said it is okay. my cooking for him would be enough. we planned to invite his cousins over...those are the only family or relatives we have around. so tomorrow, there will be around 16 of us sharing lunch. i will be cooking a pasta dish, a chicken dish and a pork dish. we have soda and chocolates for dessert. it is a simple celebration but i want to celebrate his birthday. we dont have much, actually we are a little cash strapped because i have to pay our credit card bill next week and it is really a big amount. i dont have enough money to pay for it yet. but i do want to celebrate my husband's birthday so even if it is a simple gathering, we are going to have one tomorrow. happy birthday hubby!

My husband's birthday is on November 2 and he is in the US. But we will still celebrate his birthday even if he's not around. I hope on his next birthday he will be here to celebrate with us.

if i am your husband i would also say it is okay. what matters the most is the thought that he is important to you and that in your own little way, you make him feel special. =) enjoy your gathering pal! =)

well, if you dont have enough money to buy him present. try to give him surprised. maybe you could write a poem to say that you really love him. and maybe you can give him birthday card, or something else. you can made the present by your self. sometimes, a small thing can make someone feel happier than expensive thing. so you can make something by your self. it will be simple, no money to waste, and your husband will still see your attention and love to him.
