LCD or CRT which is best for gaming?

I have tried both and I like the LCD. The 19 inch is perfect for gaming I think. You get a little close and enjoy the game. The one I have is very cheap and is still good. I bought for 99 dollars if it goes bad I will get a new one it is not that expensive.

I think you should change your monitor from CRT to LCD.Your main purpose is playing games with the computer.LCD monitor is more healthier than CRT monitor to your eyes.You will stay a long time before your computer every day,you should use good monitor.

My last CRT was an Eizo 21" and was weighting around 70 pounds . It is not the number of colors that is different in a CRT and a LCD but the quality of rendered colors, and CRT are generally better for that. My actual LCD -- a 22" Lenovo -- has a good reactivity for gaming, but needed a special calibration to render -- quite -- good colors. A LCD takes less room space, weights less, and uses less electricity. For gaming, you only need to check the reactivity -- the delay of response -- of the LCD : 2ms is very good, 6 ms is good, 10 ms is too much.

well crt are cheap lcd is expensive but lcd's consume less electricity has great picture quality and look very stylish too well i would say samsung or lg provide good quality choose any one of them and for gaming at least buy a 17" or 21" screen it feels awesome

lcd is the best.. can reduce more radiation in your eye than CRT monitor... lcd more brightness and best quality of this era..and enjoy for playing games

my opinion,you just use LCD monitor to playing games. That's recommended from developer

Where you read it??? If you can buy a GOOD Lcd monitor, don't think 2 times, it is a looot better than the CRT. I see no sense in say that a CRT reproduces more collrs, read the specs of the Monitor you want to buy and of your actual Monitor to see wich one is better and be happy.

I already try both of them and for me LCD is the best because it is not so bad in your eyes than CRT monitor. It is not also expensive in electricity than CRT monitor. Just try it and for sure you will gonna like it. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.
