Does your company provide training at work? In my company recently we have started mandating 10 days of training for each employee in a year. This is to ensure that all the employees are up to pace with the new emerging technologies and help us increase the quality of our deliverables. What is the state in your company or organization? Cheers! Ram

Yeah, sure. How the training works depends a bit on each employee and their needs though, so not everyone gets the same training, it is more based on each person's wants and needs instead, which I actually think is a very good thing.

Yes, generic training programs hardly work, so specific programs are any day better than specific ones. Cheers! Ram

The company i work for doesn't exactly provide training. They say when you start the job that in some parts of the job training is given so experience is not necessary but when you go to do the job there is no one there to train you or help you, so you are expected to learn everything yourself... luckily most of it is common sense and initiative.

Most companies these days expect employees to learn on the job. It is ok most of the times, but at times it is really difficult on the employee!! Cheers! Ram

my former company provided us a training for free. there's always a training every month to new employees but the problem was there are always some people who resign and then another new hired individuals to be trained and then resign...it seems like a cycle. still they cant get that something is wrong with the management so their training seems to be put on waste.

Most companies these days have induction trainings. But more than that it is also important to keep training the existing employees to improve their skills. Cheers! Ram
