Something for halloween: "Do you believe a child can see the UNSEEN?"

Now, something for the halloween. I don't know if this is a usual thing or out of ordinary... Do you think the young ones do really have that "eye" which can see beyond what, we, adults see?
I had asked this because I have some stories to tell... It is somewhat unusual. I have a 2 year old son who happens to point at one corner of our room and says... "Zombie.." Psst... "Zombie..." It seems he is calling someone "undead"... We look at where he is pointing. But oh my, nothing is there except some piles of boxes beside a cabinet. And it gives us "the crypt" feeling out of us... Chilling experience since the child say "Zombie".. Why he knows the zombie? My kid sees us playing this game "Plants vs. Zombies" and even though he is two 2 year old, I think he has the idea that these are already the "dead people" and was termed as "zombies". Also, he sees some in TV and some cartoons and he knows what a zombie is... And so, this is really intriguing side of the story why my kid would say "Zombie" and pointing at one direction? and even calling? We just laugh about but at certain point, we ask... "Did my kid see "something unseen" there?
Another story is that my other child was laughing and seeing something "unseen" at the stairways. He is as if he is seeing "something" there... Funny because he giggles, but we cant see the reason why he would do that without apparent reasons and under the stairways. The time is between 6PM to 7PM...
These two stories do not happen all the time. Maybe in 4 to 5 occasions of different stories but circling in somewhat they see "something out there". But it gives us a puzzle that maybe they see "things" more than we do out of the "strange" ones...
I am a fan of Ghost Whisperer TV series and had watched an episode about kids under 7 years old seeing "the unseen" and these "unseen" may or may not interact with them. Of course the world of the "unseen" refers to so many things ranging from the good side of the playful angels to the earthly elementals to the variety of spirits. And maybe... just maybe, my children may have seen some of these since they still have that "eye" which can see something unusual.
Do you have similar experiences or stories from your kids? Do you believe that a child may see more than we adults do when it comes to the "unseen" world? Or is it just their playful imagination? Then, share a little of your stories...

Hi melcaden, I think it's quite likely that young children see things that we are not able to see and that most of them will not be able to see as they get older. They are new here from the spirit world and that world is probably more real to them than this one. They have not yet forgotten the friends they left behind. I feel too that we all come here with at least one guardian angel that is very real to us for the first few years of our life here. Blessings.

Oh.. definitely your statement gives a good and suggestive idea on how certain things maybe like that in regards to what I share as a story. Yes... guardian angels.. I do feel that in one way or the other, my kids might feel and see them around. Thanks for dropping by on this discussion

Hi Mel, I am actually a child myself and to be honest, I don't know if it is true -- but I can also see "things" like that. It sounds awkward and not persuasive at all, though I'm also confused with my current condition as well.
It started when I was at 9 and still haunted me until now at the age of 13. That's already 4 years and half to count.
Lucky for your son, it seems that his "friend" is kind and atleast makes him giggle.
During my first encounter, I saw a rather headless woman (in my room - ghost) and a faceless person (ghost - I am not sure with the gender).
What I know is that, if it's a ghost, it has to be white and no feet or legs. Already quite transparent in the lower part of the body.
As you can see, our house is actually located in a subdivision that happened to be a forest.
When a very nice client of my mother came in, he asked us how many daughters there are in our family, we answered 2 (me and my older sister). But then, he asked "Who is that girl right over there near the door then?". We turned around and then we saw nothing by the door.
And it just so happened that the door (entrance of our house) always adjust and adjust automatically as if there's someone entering and exiting. Now that's the creepy part.
It's really a long story. And now, I'm pretty much sure there is something else hunting me.
Just the other night, in my room, I was pretty much alerted with something (I was already tucked in my bed - the lights were off) and then I decided to open the lights. Just when I was going to do so, there was something that was pulling me off so I wouldn't do so.
I could feel a heavy something when I lifted up my arms to the switch.
Good thing for me since God was always there and I guess he really sent me his angels :)
I do not wish to disturb those spirits in our house, but again, I just wish to inform you.

Hi..nice to hear from you sis... I dont know what to say about what you experience but it gave me a chill-effect feeling... Its creepy. I do hope that your everyday life are more fun and sunshine than what you relate here. Yes, the world of the unseen is really a mysterious one, especially if we encounter it. Thanks for sharing your story on this discussion...

I don't have children, nor will I, but I myself have seen "the unseen" before. I don't think it's necessarily something all children have the ability to do, but I do believe that there are certain people who are sensitive to things and they are born with the ability.

Yes, I do believe that some people possessed some more ability to see what lies beyond what ordinary eyes can see. Though I don't know if my kids has it or it will just passed away in due time. My relatives say that their father and a few of his relatives are experiencing also what we call the "3rd" eye phenomena. I do hope that my kids does not have it... its a creepy feeling to think that they can see something and will relate to me what they see when they are already teens... Its gives the chill out of me... Thanks for sharing your views on this discussion.

Your story isnt the first i have heard like that.I dont have kids
but i have heard from my sister that babies/children can see unknown things
that people such as me and you cannot see. Such as angels. demons, and
all that other stuff that most cant see. I dont think the kids are faking
well thats my opinion anyway hm if your kids keep talking to one of those existences I would rebuke it dont want any demons in my home..
Just to be safe I would rebuke it!

Hello... You know, this is somewhat a spooky story but does happen to us in our home. And I am uncertain on what they see.. if there is something.. Though, thanks for your advice. I do believe that with the power guided by Holy Spirit, we will always be safe... Yes, like you do, we don't want any bad spirit in our lovely place.. Thanks for sharing something on this thread.

It is possible for a child to see more than us adults. Have you ever heard of mentalism? Not majic but real mentalism... There are different planes in this world. We live in the material but it doesnt mean that the other worlds arent living among us. Some people have been born with this gift where as other may accidently tap into this. Children have not yet been filled with disbelief so there minds are more open to the possibilty. It could be old family members, friends, or even a lost soul. Most of the time its safe but yes, it can be a lil difficult to deal with. I recomend reading on the subject. Not only is it very insightful but its a great read too. Your child might have this gift and i recomend supporting them rather than being scared. Dont forget that these spirits, ghosts, undead, etc are just lost or living in their own world. Ask them to move one and a lot of the times they will.
