For people who wear glasses or contacts, how do you feel wearing glasses?

Does it bother you? or do you feel completely satisfied? My eyesight is -5.00 and -4.75. My child, who is aged 14, has also -5.25 and -5.00. I do feel sorry for her because she is young and she is going through hard times because people make fun of her (because of her glasses). How bad is your eyesight?

Wearing glasses has never bothered me, in fact today, I actually like wearing them and over the years they have become part of who I am. Yes, as a kid it is tough to wear glasses with people teasing or making fun of you, but I found that as long as you don't react to the teasing it eventually stops and those that are doing it move on to another victim.

my eye site is pretty bad.
i'm near sited.
and i had to grow up with glasses. so i go use to the jokes.
now i see it as, kids will be kids.
but when i got older i changes glasses to contacts.
so maybe you could try that.
