I do not get this rap stuff, who should I listen to. I want to start listening rap, is eminem any good. Let me know what songs does he have that I can listen do. I usually listen to soft rock. Thank you for your time in advance.

If you're slowly trying to get used to rap music, you may want to start by listening to R&B and slowly work your way to harder rap like Eminem. Eminem is well respected in the hip hop world, but his music is harsh and hard to get used to. A lot of metal and hard rock fans are into him though. If you're into soft rock, I would start with something that has a rock twist to it...Like some of Jay Z's stuff maybe.

Get flo-rida or neyo. They're good. I'm not into rap music too but these artist's music really bring it on. It's all about the attitude when it comes to rap. Eminem's music is great. At least most of them. I suggest you check them out too.
