I was thinking about publishing a book with the website www.lulu.com
Ok, "publishing" is not the right word, I know: Lulu.com is a print-on-demand site, but let's say "to publish", 'cause it's simpler.
Of course, I read everything on that site, just to gather informations and so on, but I still have some question. Have you ever used Lulu.com? It would be nice to know more about it, for example:
-how is the quality of a printed book?
-how quick are they in delivering printed books?
and so on.
Have you ever published something with Lulu.com? If so, could you give me some feedback?

I have used Lulu in the past for a photo book. I was pleased with the quality of it. Also, did some calendars that came out good. I forget how long it took for them to be delivered, but I want to say a few weeks.

I guess it also depends on the place you live, for the deliver... we'll see.
Anyway, I was mainly interested in the quality of the print: you know, it wouldn't be very nice to have a book which starts to lose pages after only a week... ^-^
Until now I read positive opinions about Lulu.com: problably I'll give it a try.

I have never published a book at all, and noticed that you did not get feeback on your discussion. Just want to not overlook your discussion by perhaps advising that you search the net for reviews of the site.
You may find negative and or positive feedback there that perhaps you could find helpful. Good luck with your book and hope all goes well.
