So I just signed up for a DeviantArt account, and I started uploading photographs I'd taken and a couple of my original poems. At first, I thought that DeviantArt was only for photos, paintings, drawings, etc. I didn't know that you can also post literature pieces there. For me, DeviantArt is very nice since you can see all sorts of art there and you can also post your own.
What do you guys think? And for those who have DeviantArt accounts already, what can you say about it? Is it an effective outlet of all your artwork and/or literature work? :)

Hi annavi23!! Yes, I have been busy with school lately. First semester in college was a bit hectic, but now I'm trying to get back to MyLot (as you can see, haha). I missed this. :) How about you, how have you been?
Anyway, yes I have posted some of my photographs there already, and it kind of helps boost my self-esteem when people like my work. I'm not really very talented in the arts, since I'm more of a Math-person (if you know what I mean), so it really helps. :D

I work during the summer, but it's only part-time freelance work. Just so I can have the money to buy things I want. Haha. I'm not even old enough to work legally in a company. Haha! Anyway, yes we were "batchmates" if that's what you call it. Haha, but yea we joined almost at the same time. :D And wow! Look at you, you already have 1400+ posts while I'm still stuck at 256. Lol.
Aww, thank you! How about you? Aren't you also interested in arts? Try joining DeviantArt, and you can just browse through some artworks there or even literature work, to get yourself entertained or something. :D

I've been on DeviantART for about 4 years now, I it's definitely helped me a lot! I've been posting both drawings and photography, and seeing all the great artists there has helped me improve and become a better artist. I've also met some really nice people there, which is great as well :) So yeah, I'd say dA is a great place to share your art!

Hi there! That's really good to hear. :D I have only been there for a couple of days, and so far it's been great. I hope that in the future, I might improve as an artist as well. Sometimes I can't help but get intimidated though, because the artworks being posted there by some veteran artists are amazing. Hope I can meet you there, as well. Heehee. :)

Aw yeah, I get a little intimidated sometimes too when I see all those awesome pictures, even a little discouraged sometimes... but I guess it's normal to feel like that. Still, one shouldn't give up but strive to improve instead :)

I have a Deviantart account, but I like looking at fan art more than I like drawing it and posting it though.
