Recently, a woman was dragged in front of the public and raped. And the irony is, the State chairperson for women welfare, herself being a woman, suggested that the rapist should marry the victim. Do you agree with the chairperson? Is this justice?

Well, based on just a short desription of the situation, It is definitely NOT just! First, the man committed a crime; Second, it is wrongly to force someone to marry especially if we talk about RAPE; and third... do you really have the full information on the situation? I am so amazed about the suggestion of the chairperson..I don't think the chairperson would suggest such kind especially if we talk about WELFARE. If this is really the scenario, you should inform the authorities.

Everything that i have mentioned was all in the papers(local) yesterday and today. Many people have condemed the statements of the chairperson. The rapist was handed over to the police by the public who captured him. But what i am implying here is the statements of the chairperson specially when she is holding the very post to protect women. Is she right? Should a person with that kind of mindset hold such a post?
