What will you do when your friend is demon possessed?

First, is your son positive his friend is possessed? Possession involves having incredible strength where there was none before, a different way of speaking, not only in tone, but in how the words are conveyed, blasphemy against Jesus, blasphemy against God and the Holy Spirit. Other factors will come into play, such as being thrown about as if the body was nothing more than a rag doll, and possible levitation of things. The demon possessing the child will also point out weakness, even secrets you knew for sure you never told anyone. These are just some traits, and I'm sure there is more. If your son's friend does have these traits, you need to find someone who has a close relationship to Jesus Christ. Those who strongly believe and accept Jesus Christ as the very One God sent to die for our sins, and believe that God raised Him to life eternal have command of demons. Problem is, a lot don't realize it, or have trouble believing. But we have authority over demons. In this situation, if it is so, talk to Jesus and tell Him what's going on. He already does know, but talking to Him about it will bring you one step closer to Him. Ask Him to lead you to someone who is strong in the faith, and who is not afraid to take authority over the demon. If this is indeed possession, you don't want to waste any time.

You cannot just lay your hands to someone who is possess when you yourself is not even strong in your faith or walk with God. We do know that during the time the Apostles live, there are certain people who would cast out demons to people and the devil will just ridicule them. In Acts 19:13-15 it says " Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, "In the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out." Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. (One day) the evil spirit answered them, "Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?" What to do with this kind of situation? ask someone whom you think is doing the will of the Father, who mirrors himself/herself everyday with the Word of God and meditate on God's Word and obey fully to the Holy Spirit. Self righteousness will just make it more worst whenever a person is just laying his hands over demon possessed person and the demon will just laugh.

In such eerie situation, God is the only person who can come to our support. Pray him with full devotion and faith, the demon quality of the person will subside. Further in such incidents, we should be very bold. If we show our cowardice, then the demon will easily hit us back. If we are bold, it will be afraid and go away.

I have dealt with several demonic possession before. I used a different approach in dealing with the demons. In one case the demon gave reasons for it doing so. I countered by finding weaknesses in its arguments. In other cases the method that I used was unfamiliar to the demons. Some fought back, but in the end they gave up.

i think one needs to talk to this bad spirit of one's friend, cause he might need some help, pray for this spirit and for one's friend and to read spiritual and enlightenement books so any bad spirit wouldn't feel confortable being in there anymore it seems bad thoughts and bad qualities attracts the bad spirits, if you listen to angelical musics and do high level readings (like about Jesus and stuff) they go away cause they can't stand

Yes, I agree with you. After such experience your son has certainly learn a good lesson and he will remember it for the rest of his life. However, if I have to face such situation, it will be up to the demon what he feels like doing. I will only be a victim.

whew! I have never had this demonic experience. And thank God about that. I don't want that to happen to me or to my friends. I have faith in God and i will always have faith in him forever. Pray. Pray. Pray.

Nothing to do but always a asked God's help and pray hard as ever i can make. The very first thing i can do better if I have more companion was to go to a Priest or the other elders that will help me in that situation. I cannot do it alone I need somebody to help us to cast away the demons inside his body. Because this is the battle of the good and the bad that only Jesus has the authority to all.

Demon possession is actually a real problem, a very misunderstood phenomenon and a threat to many people. Do NOT try to appeal to a demon's "good side". Demonic possession is a powerful force beyond the comprehension of most humans. Demons are trans-dimensional beings and have no "sides" to speak of, good or otherwise.

I have never seen anyone being demon possessed in my entire life and I have no idea what will happen when someone actually is being demon possessed. Do they turn dangerous or ill or something else? I would not know what to do but I definitely would get really panicked. I think I will instead run and ask for a help as fast as possible so a help can be given faster to the person. Have a nice day

Use your authority in Christ to cast it out, command it to come out of them in Jesus' name and use Scripture, and pray. We have the authority in Christ to cast out demons, and if we are Christians that's one of the things we are to do, because it's in the Great Commission.

I don't have any experience regarding this so I can't possibly say how will I react. I think prayers are the only thing that can resolve this and our firm belief in God's Glory and power!

That is frightening. If it was my friend, I think I'll run away and hide, as a first reaction. But people who are possessed by evil spirits are strong. They can hurt you by using the victim's body. Call for help because a bunch of kids can't handle it.

hey, I have never encounter this situation. I am sorry to tell you that I just believe in myself. I don't believe in god. So I dont think that people would be demon possessed. If people act out of routine, I think he there must be something wrong in his life system such as nutral system.

Probably run and have the person trapped in one room with out breakable things. well, even those who are in deep of faith are susceptible for demonic possession. actually, i had this experience when i was a kid. my mom, only excused it as a epilepsy but i remember what happened, i was not control of myself even though i was awake. probably a bit headache and can't even control my movements.

First of all, I would make sure I know what is actually going on. I mean, how did your son reach that conclusion, that the friend was possessed? Was it something that happened, or the way that friend was behaving...? There could be many different explanations for it, after all (such as some medical condition like epilepsy, for example).
