I think this is not the first time that managers have been unhappy with Benzema. One of the reasons why he was dropped from the French World Cup squad was the fact that the French coach felt that he does not train hard. Similarly this seems to be the same grouse that Mourinho has. I think if Benzema really wants to play long for club and country, he needs to change this bad boy image and get on the good books of his coaches!! Cheers! Ram

I think it is because Benzema is unable to play like he is told to play, he can only play when he is left to do whatever he wants on the field. He likes to be the center of the team, the star player, just like he was at Lyon. He is unable to fulfill tactics, he is the sort of player who plays for fun not for result. But as I have seen many times he has no respect for others and Mourinho is a coach who demands respect. It would be the best for both parties to split their ways and Benzema to find another team to play for, because no doubt about the fact that he has huge potential and he is still very young.

I agree with Mou.. Benzema has given many chance and still no improvement.. Maybe too many stars in el Real made him down.. Benzema should play with mediocore club, it will improve him..
