want a help.
i want to host a website through my PC ,and hostin. Do i need to keep my PC on (power on ) all the time for my website or is there any software . i am doing this for 1st time plzzz heplll
!

There are 2 options available
#1 - Go for professional services provided like GoDaddy etc
#2 - As you mentioned, you host it on your own machine. In this case you will require following things:
a. Static IP from your ISP
b. Make sure your machine never turns off. If it turns of your website gets down.
c. You have a web server (IIS, Apache, etc) installed and configured on your machine.
These are the basic things needed. Hope this helps.
