You may be throwing away thousands of dollars without knowing it?

"An order of nuns in Baltimore stands to make $150,000-$200,000 from the auction of a 100-year-old (or so) Honus Wagner T206 card. And even better, the card was an unexpected donation."
I probably threw away thousands of dollars without knowing it! When I was young in the 1960ies, I used to have thousands of comics and baseball cards and other cards. Whoever thought that one day they would be so valuable?
Might something you throw out be or become very valuable? Do you think twice before throwing something out?

You know how some record albums are becoming valuable as they get rarer? Well, even though nobody uses c.d's anymore, I plan to keep my large c.d. collection in perfect condition. Maybe when I'm ready to retire some of them will be worth money! I tossed all my Barbies from when I was little, but I have a good My Little Pony collection that I'm saving -- who knows what collectors will pay for some of those in a few years?

I should have gotten a storage place for my comics, cards, records and other collectibles and I could have been rich now. It's too late for that! If you have a place to store things then hold on to them. Who knows what might be worth a fortune?

Thanks for reminding me, I have some painted plates that from the beginning are collectibles. The are about 20 years old. Have to check if they have increased in value..
If we go to a recycling store, we might find old magazines that they give for free.. We have one store not far from here..
Well, who knows what I will find in the wardrobes..?? Hopefully not skeletons!!

Yeah! I hope it will be the one who won the skeleton beauty contest! Have you heard who that was? No-body!

I hope you find something valuable in that large closet of yours and if you find a skeleton, try to sell it to the science museum.

I do not have any paper collectibles. I do have some glass items and other things that might be worth something eventually. If I will take some time to research it.

You may have something of real value on your hands. Do your research as you have stated and see.

I think every time we exchange money and we haven't looked at it, it might be valuable. Like a penny worth a hundred thousand dollars. I'd like to get a collectors magazine so I could find out. I'm sure we've all let fortunes run through our hands.

I'll have to take a closer look at those coins that pass through my hands from now on.

Yeah vintage things are worth hundred of thousands.
There are many old things which are being auctioned now and they cost a lot.
I am also thinking now of not throwing away my things.
