An interesting city name in the U.S state of New Mexico(NM)

I liked hearing about the place called Truth or Consequences in New Mexico. I think its original name which was Hot Strings sounded much better. I have only just heard about this city whilst reading your discussion. I studied in Wales and one place name has the longest name in the world I think. I am English and so I wouldn't like to try to write it. I am not sure about Welsh spellings. Near to where I live is a city called Bath. I used to live in a village called Bridge. Those two names of places are very realistic. So I wonder what it is like in the city called Truth or Consequences.

Yes I lived in New Mexico for three years and had heard about this name of that particualar city. I think Hot Springs was a better name. Truth or Consequences is just to long and strange for a city name in my opinion. I remember the TV game show from years ago but still find it very strange to call a city this long name.
