Have you heard about the news that Poland and Ukraine have paid off UEFA officials to win the election for organizing the EURO 2012? Some Federation ask UEFA to take the EURO organizing right away from these countries and give it to another country, Italy for example.
What do you think about this issue? Do you think it is true? Please share with me

I think that it is only an illusion that football is a clean sport. My father says where there is money involved, there is also corruption, especially if there is so much money involved and so many people. I would really want for football to be a clean sport, but it has become a very ugly business, where the money is the main goal, not the glory and prestige.

After the spot fixing controversies in the game of cricket, now this is the bribing issue in football. Money seems to be having too much of a say in games these days and is destroying the sprit of the game. I think if this is proved then it would be a big blow for UEFA and football. I just hope that UEFA deals with this with an iron hand and bans these associations while providing an option for the players to represent some other country!!
Cheers!

I already knew this years ago. FIFA and UEFA are mafia organizations. If you want to organize a world or european championship football/soccer be sure to draw your wallet.
FIFA's chairman Sepp Blatter is a criminal and everyone knows this but nobody has the power to do something about it. One of the rights Blatter claims is a driving line on the highway so he can get past traffic very quickly. Or a VAT waiver... -.-
