Send myLot to the corner

Oh this is happening to me too. Also I am not getting any notifiers so perhaps I should just get there in some other way to check. Now what was the question? How should we discipline a misbehaving website? Well - we could leave - but then some of us may end up with withdrawal symptoms.

Really annoying the pop up box and the loggin also. Im trying to remain very calm here but if you need a Dominatrix to take care of them.....call me!! I know how to hurt!! lol

Other than the slow, I am not really having a problem. I think I got the authenticate screen one time last night, when on my lap top. I do not know if there is really anything we can do about the problems, though, and I sure would miss Mylot if it was not an option.

I just got that annoying pop-up now too...sheesh I'm used to glitches over at that other place, but not here. *sighs*

Hi dawn... I have not received any authentication notice but after responding to a discussion regarding this topic, i received two continuous notice but i ignored them. yes, sometimes this site becomes so slow, then i avoid it for hours, then it become okay. haha. Thanks.

I experienced the same thing yesterday, I think thrice, asking me to authenticate my user ID.

Hi dawnald, I feel really annoyed when browsing at around nine thirty to twelve in night time here, as the loading is extremely slow. The myLot time shown is around ten in the morning. I think it's the heavy traffic moment. I couldn't bear the sluggishness just sitting waiting monotonously watching the screen. And sometimes it's really disappointed to see pages pop up partially only.... I never like to continue my work online anymore and stay away from my laptop straight away. How nice it's to breathe in the fresh air outside the compound. The gentle breeze makes me feeling so comfortable and relaxed as well. actually I should thank the heavy online traffic and gives me the opportunity to inhale the outdoor cool and fresh air Happy posting

I am not getting notifications too and yes the annoying popup confused me for a while as I thought my computer is under virus attack again. Luckily they managed to clear things up quickly before the site is bombarded with repetitive discussions of this nature.

I got this pop-up yesterday when I logged into mylot. I think it's someone trying to get into our mylot accounts and steal our funds I don't recommend anyone responding to this type of pop-up it seems to be a phishing ploy by some hacker so mylotters should be wary. Just delete it or use the x button to get rid of the annoying pest. ......

This is the first time I have been able to get through to mylot and over half the day is gone. Well everybody has computer problems sooner or later and mylot is not exception. I am sure they are trying to fix it ASAP Hang in there

Dawn- I've been getting it all night and cannot stand it! I've gotten no sufficient answer from any of the administration. I'm suspecting it is quite possibly another malware and I shall not for any reason input my information in such a box. Namaste-Anora

I haven't had reason to give myLot a spanking today (yet) . . . but I gotta ignore myLot for the next few hours . . . too many things to do! Give myLot a time out! Hee hee.

i usually get a chance to get on the computer before 9 something at night, but since I have been on I have gotten the authentication pop up 15 times. I thought it was just me. Hopefully the glitches get out.

Do ya'll not have a pop-up blocker? My Firefox, blocks all these pop-ups ! I'm not having any problems with the myLot site !

I was wondering WTH was going on. But I could not get out of that pop up screen for the love of me. I wasn't sure what was going on, it wouldn't accept my user id or password, it eventually let me x it out since it wouldn't let me "log in" when I was already logged in?!?! I hope it's not a phishing scheme as someone else said. Otherwise I have a password to change wich I guess I should do just in case since I don't know what that popup was.

I know, it did that to me yesterday and I was on there to catch up with some discussions and what not. I guess the only way to discipline a website is to send an e-mail, I almost said letter, how archaic, to the webmaster. But, I think they addressed the complaints today in an e-mail so all is forgiven.

I thought that it was just me that this was happening to, so I'm glad to know that it was not just me. You see, my internet connection has been very laggy for these last few days and because of that I haven't really spent a lot of time online. Well, now I know at least that the problems that I was having on mylot weren't my fault. If only I was able to figure out the reason that the rest of my sites haven't been running right for the last few days.

I've had that pop up yesterday. The one that asks for authentifcation. I typed in my username and password, but nothing happened. The pop up kept coming up. So, I just pressed cancel when it came up again. It seemed to have done the trick, because I havent't seen it since. I wouldn't put myLot in the corner, but there surely are some other websites that deserves to be in there.
