Recently I heard that my parents are moving out into the country. My mom has always wanted to go out and live in the country, and my dad lived out there as a child. I am happy for them, and I have also thought that when I have a family we would move out to the country as well. My question is have you lived out in the country, and did you enjoy living out there.

I lived out in the country until about ten years ago when I got married. My wife already had a house in the city (in another state no less) when we got married, so I moved here to be with her. We have a nice place in the suburbs, but it just isn't the same as living out in the rural areas like the one I grew up with. I hope that my wife and I will be able to move out into the country someday...

I used to live out in the country and i loved it! I was just far enough to have a few neighbors and not be too far from the store. I liked it because it was peaceful and quiet and didn't have the hustle and bustle of being in the city. I prefer simplicity. :o)

Yes i do,i am living in the country since childhood and i can say i have very simple and normal childhood here in my place. Before no electricity at all and we only use battery so we can watch tv.The water is spring and comes from the mountain. The wind are breezy and cold when cold season from november until february.
Summer time is fun because all children of my age always in the plaza to enjoy afternoon games and plays. We have basketball and badminton league in th e plaza every vacation.Life before is very easy and only crushes can make my day happy.
Now i can say i still love here but now so many people here and we can not enjoy the place because it is so crowded now.
The only thing i dont like about here is that it is far from the city and it takes me 1 or more hours to get in to the city and in the main city it takes 2hours to get there.

Living out in the country is wonderful. I think that living out in the country side of this wonderful USA is the best and most unknown privilege we have as citizens of this great country. What is so great about it? To me, lets start with privacy, you have all the privacy depending on your location a person could want. Also, depending on your living lifestyle, it can be very rewarding for example, if you are heating your home with wood, chopping wood, and getting your wood stacked and in the woodhouse for the winter is a very secure feeling. Even if the power should go out which it often does in winter, you will still be warm thanks to your own hard work getting your wood/heat source in for the winter. At night the sky is wide open away from city lights. You can see that God has blessed us with a glorious blanket of stars. In the spring, there is the hope of renewal, and the thrill of gardening for your own sustenance. And by living out in the country you learn to appreciate the community of fellow countrymen around you. You help each other, gladly, because it could be you next to be the one in need of a helping hand. All of these aspects of country living contribute to one having a whole and complete, and challenging, as it does take some work, life.
