How important is mobile phone to teen agers ?

in my times i needed the mobile phone to communicate not just with my parents but also some members in our school groupings. also, i used my phone's internet connection to search some stuff related to our school activities.

mobile phone is something teenagers today can't live without. They couldn't do anything without their mobile phone. I guess as parents we must give them guidance on how to use this technology in a way they will benefit from it and not be controlled by this gadget.

yes true in some cases teenagers are too mcuh addicted as regards mobile phone,sms and all comunication you can on a mobile phone..i think that it cna be normal also because everyone want stay in touch with friends surely if hey are too mcu addicted should control this..in my opinion!!

As I observe my children this is really very important to them for the reason they are the one who knows it. For me i want them to have the cellphone so i know where they are and i can monitor their places. And i know if they have this device with then they feel comfortable too. So from time to time they need some assistance from us we can handle it quickly wherever we are. And to add more they are inn into today's society. Let us try not to give them the cellphone at their age now for sure they will argue.

I find it so important for the teen agers especially nowadays. Not to monitor them, but to be able for them to contact you in case of emergency.

We all know that phones are used for calling and messaging but nowadays, phone is like a fashion, the more expensive your phone, the cooler you are. I think phone has become a way of knowing who is rich and who is not. There are lots of different types of phone these days, with extra functions and specialities, which i could nt understand. I think that the main reasons that parents are allowing their kids to carry mobile with them at very young age is because firstly, they need to keep in contact with their child and secondly, these kids moan to get phone because for kids, if you don't have phone, then you are, i don't know, sort of weirdo??? maybe. I do think that nowadays kids are getting more and more spoiled.

yeah ..i think are the main reasons of parents allowing their kids at the young age carrying mobile with them... but now mobile is a very important thing for all ...

hi I suppose f or most teens its yes I have to have one, so what can I say who have not yet succumbed to it;.money is the thing that stops me from having a cellphone with a money eating plan, get me on a cheap plan and I might get one but have more important priorities for my'money at this time.

They think it's important. I just like my older daughter to have one, because she takes the bus home, and she can use it in case of trouble. But I'm sure she could live without one if she had to. For example, the first day of school, when she missed the bus, she could have gone into the office to call me instead of using the cell.

As for me, providing cellphone for my kids is important nowadays especially if our kids are schooling. I'll be more at peace if I know I can contact him anytime with his cellphone. For me, it's more advantage for my kids to acquire cellphone. It's only up to the parents on how they're going train their children in managing their cellphones. It's better if our children learn from us.

Well phones are kind are important of a teenages life at this era of time. Most people usually get phones to text or call friends. Some people just get it to get it to be part of the "in- crowd" if you might say. Also, the reason some kids have phones is parens buy them for kids and they want to contact their own children at times. Phones are just a way for parents to know there own child is safe for most of the time.

I think mobile phone has little use to teenagers except showing off before people.Some teenagers request their parents to buy very dear mobile phones to them,they think the mobile phones should reach the standard of modern society.They often show off the mobile phone each other.

Mobile phones are advantageous in today's world. You can track where your kids are. It is handy and useful. If your lost, you can just call your friends/family. Whenever I ride a taxi, I text the plate number to my father so that whatever happens to me, he knows whom to ask.

Yeah, you are right, this is the only reason that we want our children to have mobile phones other wise there is no other option in ma mind to allow them. I gave my younger brother mobile phone because his school is a little far, so when I am late or have some work, it is easy for me to tell him earlier that I ll be late to pick him up. I know awareness about modern technology is must for children but not at the cost of their future, if you find that mobile phone or any other technology is putting bad effect on their studies or their daily routine life, just take it from them for some time, as a punishment, it ll make them sensible and they ll have sensible use of it. Allow them to use but first tell them that these are limits, if you remain in the limits then we are no one to stop you other wise we ll cut off this facility, but always be friendly to you child, dont be so harsh, be kind and caring so they can share their every thing with you...... Teenagers love to socialize. they like to keep in touch with all of their friends. Mobile phones are a popular way for teenagers to stay connected.

I think it's as important to teenagers,as important it is to the other people.Cell phones sure come in handy with their wi-fi and connectivity wherever you are.Cell phones are a good thing,but i think they're way out of hand with their features.

mobile phones are important even gave one to my niece so that she can communicate with her parents specially after school so that they can pick her up. I even agree more in teen agers because they do have group projects and they can use the phone for communication.

Teen agers , they are up-to-date to all kinds of changes occuring technically or mechanically. Its similar in the case of laptops and vehicles. they cant avoid these three things .they need to communicate, need to travel, enter into new technologies. They always want to remain updated.

there is no any advantage if the teen agers carry a phone when they are at school , so I sugget parents will not allow the teen agers to buy the mobile phone

Because the parents need to contact them,now the traffic was so fast,nobody knows where the kids are!yeah,if everybody have a mobile phone,but your chird not,what would happened to her/him ?
