Do you make friends online?

I am not sure if I can trust people online, but sometimes I do make friends online.

I used to have a lot of friends online... When i actually started using social networking sites.... Its when I was in Intermediate.... I actually got close with so many.... and we even exchanged phone numbers and used to talk and chat on phone more than onoline.... But somehow i felt its not that good to do that.... so i have just cut the contacts with everyone.... May be.... making online friends is good only to a certain extent.....

that is right. even offline it is hard to trust people,but the good thing about making friends online is that we tend to know and share a lot because they are not there for us in person who can just spread everything we say to just anyone who might know us or be affected with any news about us.

I do make friends online but must admit I am am bit bit more cautious as you just never truly know who the actual person is behind the screen. I do look at this way though, that I am a good person and surely there has to be many like me if not better.
So just of matter of being cautious but we would do this anyways with off-line new acquaintances as until you get to know them better you really do not know them well either.

Yes..I make friends online..As far as trust issue goes, do not trust them immediately. Take time to find things about them(like area of interests, hobbies, location, what they do..etc). I suggest first take it slow. But if you both have hit it off instantly, meet your friend soon if possible..that will clear a lot of things. Who knows you may just meet a person who could become your friend for life :)

I make friends online but of course I also make the necessary precautions before being friends with them. I never give my full name,address,date of birth and other substantial info about me to the persons that I don't know personally.

I have so many friends online, I found them at yuwie a social networking site, we've friends for more than two years and they're true and can be trusted. We communicate by sending comments and greetings during special occasions. Am happy having them as friends. We're inviting each other to join websites we think nice and good. One of them, was the one responsible why am in mylot today.

I have lots of on line friends. I am careful what information I give out though. I actually skype with people from all over the world. But as I said, you have to be really careful as it is difficult to trust people these days!
