Mturk is owned by Amazon.com and is completely legit. Notify them immediately of your problem.

Hi ram, I am not a member of mturk but I have heard from my friend that it pays. You have to wait for your cheque sometimes it may take longer but really pays.

i neve rjoined mturk but i heard many times that this site really pays their members so you would be sure about it think..mturk is owned by amazon so it is a big and trusted company from my point of view...i think you should just wait your check coming..

They do pay since I have received two payments from them. Since it's been 5 months for you already and you haven't received your check yet, you should contact them. It's suppose to take up to 6 weeks to receive the check. Well longer since you have to scan some information of yourself which can take 14 days to verified and then they mail you the check. So contact is your best option.
