Do you just accept any friend request at facebook?

Lately there has been warnings around about spammers and bad guys trying to mess up an account or cloning a page and or fool people for the purpose of getting money .
These bad guys who have been aroundt the cyber world is trying to concentrate on facebook, for they know too well that this site is the most popular social site nowadays.
Me for myself, at first, gets excited when someone who want to be my friend and i would readily accept a request from this person.However,this person just becomes a shadow in my list for he or she doesnt take time to send comments or clik I like.Then i realized later that all he/she wants is another neighbor in her facebook games. And he or she doesnt even take time to say thank you just in case i accept the invitation to be his/her neighbor.
I am lucky that so far, I dont have any bad experience with hackers and spammers.But i dont have to wait to have one. For now, i make sure that whoever wants to be my friends there has to be a friend of my friend first, and then when i accept the request i alway take time to check the profile of this person.
How bout you, are u so cautious too of people who sends u friend request at facebook?

No i'm Not.. I don't receive a friend's request from someone I don't know. Unless I add him/her first :)

hi,i dont accept frien requests from people i dont know.i eceive many friend requests but i only accept if i know the person personally or relatives even i didnt see in person yet.its just that i want more privacy but doesnt mean im not friendly in fact i am but i am just a private person i guess.

I only choose people whom I really know. If I receive any invitation from a stranger I'll not accept it but if a family member knows that person and if I asked them how many years do you know him/her? If they answered he's/she's a friend of mine since high school then I'll add them up.

I don't accept friend requests on facebook unless i know who the person is... i've always done that even before these spammers were going around because if i don't know them why would they talk to me anyway. My profile is set to private so that would deter some spammers but obviously not all of them.

I don't accept just anyone's request on Facebook. I make sure that either I know that person or he is a friend of my friend. In the latter case I don't accept all the requests but only selective ones.

I used to just accept people I know. But when I started playing FarmVille last month, I can no longer screen every request like before because much of the new "friends" are just FarmVille players.
Now, I have to be more social and neighborly. I'm accepting everybody (i.e., people only) as friends and fellow gamer.

yes, i am cautious of people who sends me friend request. I don"t really add those people that is totally stranger coz i don't want to share pictures with a total stranger. Currently i have 75 friend request that are pending.

Definitely I am very careful in accepting friend request with people I don't know. I usually check their profile and if I find something dubious, I ignore such request!
