Ya,you are right.
Now Raina is slowly and steadly taking the place fron the yuvi.
I think He had made his spot 90% permanent in test team.
He got the spot in the playing 11 completly on the basis of his skill.
He is playing well in all formats .
He is becoming a super star for India.
He is the only Indian who have scored 100 in all formats of thr game
I am a big fan of him .
hope he will continue his form well in the upcoming series also.

Yuvraj far better than ravinder jadeja who is being taken into the by Dhoni with out even Caring about his performances.Dhoni just shows ravidra jadeja as alrunder.in that case yuvraj is also an alrounder who can bowl well and bat well then ravinder jadeja who an not do anything perfectly. If yuvraj have given many hances like Jadeja then would shine one again untill now.Yuvraj may play a major role in worldcup 2011 which is in india.so its a critial situation for him to come into form immediately or he may miss the world Cup which would be a great loss for team india.even Rohit sharma should get into perfect form by then ..
Happy Mylotting :D

Yes, he has and given his performances over the last year he deserves it. Yuvi has been inconsistent for quite some time now and has been dogged by injuries since that stupid injury while playing football. So Raina has stepped up to the plate and has grabbed the chances that he has got. Now Yuvi will have to wait his turn. I think he will still make the ODI XI, but most probably it would be very difficult for him to make the Test squad from here on.
Cheers!

Hi,
Yuvraj has been recently struggling in his form because he had faced many injuries.Normally for a player after he got injured he needs to take rest from cricket. When he return he would feel uncomfortable with his fitness in the game.So that has happened in the matter of left-handed batsman YUVRAJ SINGH.He has the potential to hit the balls over long distances. When he took rest because of his injuries Raina got a chance on his place.Raina very well used Yuvraj's place and he dragged Yuvraj out of the team.Even Yuvraj got chances he failed often. So now Yuvi needs to keep his patience and continue his hard work.He should believe in himself.

Yes, you are right. Consistency and sensible stroke play have rewarded Raina with the secure positions in all three formats of the game.
Yuvraj is not being selected for the test team because it is easy to choose Raina against Pujara.
His understanding of the game and consistency is increasing day by day. Now-a-days, if you notice, Dhoni and Yuvraj both are not playing well as they used to play a few years back, still the Indian middle order batting is rock solid and that is because of Raina. His ability of hitting sixes can not be compared with Yuvraj and Dhoni (they are monsters), still Raina often hits more sixes than fours. At present, whether it is Indian team or Chennai super kings both rely a lot upon Raina's performance.
He is one of the best fielders in Indian team and he can bowl as well, that too in tough situations. Raina is actually an awesome gift to the Indian team.
Still I feel if Yuvraj is fit, he will come back to the Indian team, nobody can stop him.

Yes Raina has taken place of Yuvraj in Test but I don't think in ODI's. Yuvraj has come back in ODI and I am sure he will make in the World Cup squad as well. It will be real test for Raina to hold on his test position, as he is susceptible against short pitch bowling. South Africa tour is going to be crucial for Raina if he want to maintain his Test position where his batting skills are really going to be tested.
