My 35th year class reunion is coming up in Nov. I am reunited with quite a few people I went to school with on Facebook. I already know how their doing and even see pics of their families and chat even..does it make sense to pay 50 dollars to go see them in person only to hear what I already know from being on facebook?...what would you do?

I think that is your personal choice. I have never been to one of my reunions. I just have never cared anything about going. They just had our 50th one & i did not even receive notice about it, See why i don't go. lol. If u go have a big time.

Dera Gjax, I think though you have a point that it sounds senseless to attend Class reunion and for that paying 50 Dollars, when you already know about the friends, I feel you have a different feeling of physically meeting your old friends. Talking and interacting personally is some thing special and you have different experience. Another point is that possibly you may not have all the friends of yours on Face Book as every one may not be Internet freaks like you and me. Thus by attending such reunions you can meet those missed ones to get their well being and where abouts. Any how looking at the event of reunion I would have given a second thought for pending 50 Dollars, if I was free to attend the union and again if the place of reunion is close by or easily approachable! Thanks !

Hi AKRAO24, I hear what your saying. and I am looking for many people I cant find on Facebook with no luck :( I wish it were free but 50 dollars is well worth seeing some old friends I had closeness with back in the day..I dont know what i'll do but thanks for posting.

It's still different if you meet up in person. It's great to catch up with people you knew back then. It'll bring back the days. :)

I think it would still be different if you get to meet and see your friends that you went to school with personally. I think it is much fun than just chatting and looking at their photos on facebook. I did attend my high school reunion last year, and i am glad that i did attend because i had to see my friends from school and we went out to have fun. I really enjoyed it so much seeing them again.
