Hello there
Unless you have an unique book written about a niche subject or just a very interesting subject where people feel they get alot for thier money, then it will be a good business...
But selling E-books where you have obtained the rights to sell them because you bought one and then also the rights will not make you many dollars. The reason - try search the E-books business on eBay and see how little they sell for - they sell for so little that you are almost doomed to loose money.

well, they don't sell too much, but at lest they are selling some, I write those books and don't earn nothing with this.
thank you so much for your response.

i never tried personally but some friends tried this system and in reality it won't work so much...if you are lucky you can sell some books but in many cases you can calculate that you should spend much time to promote and in amny cases the freee way to promote e-books not really works so yous hould in some cases promote using seo but you know it is not so cheap as we can think..

Thanks, I know of this problem, we have to have great traffic to be able to sell some books, I don't know about SEO, but I don't want to spend money on it.
thanks for your response.

I have not tried selling E-books, but I have bought one. It is nice and cheap to get e-books online. It is an interesting business to buy or sell e-books though it does not cost much or you don't make much. Now after two years, what about your idea of selling e-books? Have you given it a try or are you right now doing it?

I am actually working on this very idea. I write small books, mostly study guides right now. I have a few orders but then I have all the postage as well. I am researching how to set up an online store. That way I can either mail them or sell them to be downloaded.

That is exactly my idea, it is what I was thinking, well, I can see that you already have your books, I have some too and I am writing more, like yours, they are guides to learn some topics.
thank you very much for your response and good look with your website and your books.

There are a lot of different ways to sell ebooks online, and if you do it right, and have a good product, you can make decent money. I write mostly fiction, and plan to publish my work as ebooks. Since I want the widest distribution possible, I'll be using Smashwords, an online publisher. They don't charge anything, and they take a reasonable percentage of sales to support the site and what they do for writers. I think the percentage is 15%. Of course, you can put up your own website, but then you have to work much harder to promote your work, and you also have to pay for hosting.
