Ok so I live with my brother, my fiance, and our friend. 3 grown men I might add. lol Well we all know hoe bachelors are and men in general when it comes to house work or cleaning up after themselves!(not applicable to all men) Most men are kind of messy and slobs!
I live with 3 of them! :( My brother and fiance will come home from work and take their jackets off and just throw them on the couch. They go and change and their uniforms are just thrown all over the place. I am constantly picking up after them and doing their laundry. I feel like a live-in maid sometimes lol. Our other roomate isn't as bad but he tends to cook for himself and leave all the dishes out, and all the guys do this actually.
They all joke about I am the only woman in this house and its my job to do the cooking and cleaning. I don't mind doing these things most of the time but sometimes it gets a little ridiculous. 3 grown men should be able to pick up after themselves, but they don't. :/
I know some of u are probably saying why does she live with 3 grown men blah blah blah. Its a roommate situation and we all pay part of the bills in our house. My brother and fiance are both military so its better for them to have this set up rather then living on post.
Well I'm going to stop rambling. Just wanted to see if anyone else knew what I was talking about???

Wait wait. I'm a man and far from a slob. The only thing that might get a little messy would be my room but common areas like the living room and kitchen and all that I'm constantly cleaning behind my girlfriend. I agree there are so really lazy sloppy guys out there but I'm here to tell you I have had many girlfriends and most of them where just as messy if not more!lol

LOL true! Some girls can be very messy, but not me I'm sort of a clean freak. And I know men can be tidy too so no offense. I even said it didn't apply to every man :(

I am in the same situation as you are. I am picking after my brother and my cousin in our house. My brother, who likes to antagonize whenever I refuse to do his commands or pick his clothes. He keeps saying that that is my job around the house while watches, eats and sleep after his work. I kinda understanding because sometimes he is bone tired in some days but I don't appreciate being a maid and not a word of thanks for the work I gave unconditionally. My cousin trails after him but I can trick him sometimes to work around the house.
